A study of processes and construction systems
Moelven Byggmodul is a company that works with the industrial construction of unique houses, including small houses, townhouses and multistory buildings as well as student accommodations. The concept is based on the manufacture of box units with a wood structure that are manufactured in their own factories.
The modules are assembled and completed on-site by their own employees. The company handles the entire process - from designing, the manufacturing, assembly and the complementary work to finished buildings. Tyréns have been commissioned to analyze the companys processes and construction systems as the basis for further development and streamlining. Both the technical and processing sub-areas were analyzed and suggestions were made concerning the areas meant for development.
We also acted as the technical construction advisor to Moelven Byggmodul, which consisted of assisting the company with design resources and construction calculations when they required them.
