Himlabadet - a water park that will open in Sundsvall
In this project, Tyréns took on the role of workplace environmental and environmental co-ordinator for Sundsvall Arena and worked with climate and availability, as well as fire and safety.
The water park is a big investment for Sundsvall and they are hoping to attract visitors and to stimulate the income they generate by using the water park to expand the selection of activities and events. The construction and operation of the water park was designed to be as climate smart as possible with the lowest possible negative impact on the environment in the early stages of the environmentally governed project. Making the park accessible to all social groups was very important and it was mostly achieved by designing and equipping it with the disabled in mind.
