Analysis of about 30 buildings UMAS in Malmö
Analysis of about 30 buildings of the northern hospital area in Malmö. The purpose of the analysis is to investigate the possibilities of relocating some of the medical departments.
This was done by inventorying and cataloguing the current facilities and matching the results with the different demands that the medical departments required of the facilities. Each building is divided into segments and each of the segments are then analysed. The template we are using for implementing the analysis allows the results to be accessed via GIS-model as well as through the reports. The database is fully capable of being extended and the levels of the requirements can be changed and the new matches will appear automatically. One of the advantages of the GIS-model is that the search for appropriate facilities becomes easier when actually using the model than it would be when simply going through large amounts of reports.
