The great transformation
The Slussen area in Stockholm is facing a major change. We are currently involved in the project in several areas. We are investigating the geotechnical conditions in the Slussen area, both on land and in the water.
We have been tasked with compiling an Environmental Impact Assessment for the new plans. We are also responsible for parts of the environmental surveys in relation to the change in the regulation of Lake Mälaren. The risk of flooding is already deemed to be unreasonably high and our consultants are assessing the local and regional environmental impact of the planned tapping and regulation.
We are also performing detailed studies of traffic design with road structures, terminal areas and other conditions such as the material for continued detail planning and programme work and future systems documents.
