Of these, Environmental Consequence Descriptions are our single biggest consultancy service. Our environmental surveyors work at all stages and on various types of project, with planning and surveying, project planning and construction, environmental management and environmental training.
A lot of people are now predicting permanent changes to our climate, resulting in higher temperatures, increased precipitation, higher sea levels and more extreme weather, with heat waves, floods, drought and perhaps even more - and more violent - storms. The investments we make in society today have to take into account possible climate forecasts and future scenarios. We also have to review existing buildings, roads, railways and storm water systems in order to see the risks of a change in climate.
